The new "East Campus" at Brownsburg Schools serves as home to Reagan Elementary School, the first elementary constructed in this growing community since 1999. Fanning Howey Architects was hired design the facility along US136 on the eastern fringe of the Town.
CONTEXT was tasked with delivering the complete site/civil package for the project, including a 3,000-foot dedicated public road, Bulldog Way, connecting Reagan Elementary to the existing East Middle School. The idea of a new roadway was a highly-charged issue with local neighbors. CONTEXT was asked to play a liaison role between the Corporation and residents to effectively align, screen and buffer the road from adjacent parcels.
Overall, the site construction totals $2.5 million including vehicular and pedestrian circulation, playgrounds, courtyard, drainage infrastructure, buffering and landscaping.
