Legacy is a mixed-use community seeking certification as a LEED-Neighborhood Development pilot project. The Village Core project includes development of the primary mixed-use corridor and adjacent village green, which will become the civic heart of the community. The corridor solution incorporates porous unit pavement, traffic calming devices, cast stone planters, native plants, site furnishings and lighting into a cohesive, pedestrian-friendly and green streetscape.
CONTEXT delivered the master plan and illustrations of the streetscape and village green, as well as complete construction documents for the corridor streetscape. The streetscape is currently under construction, and will set the tone for public space throughout the development.
