Perched at the west gate of the Naval Surface Warfare Center at the intersection between Daviess, Greene and Martin Counties, a new technology park is becoming reality. CONTEXT was commissioned to create 5- and 15-year land use plans to guide the development of the park, which will include classified laboratories, technology incubators, specialized warehousing, advanced manufacturing and professional office facilities. Commercial, retail, hotel and conference amenities are also envisioned to complete this one-of-a-kind economic engine for the region. The result is a model technology park characterized by natural resource conservation, ample green space, tree-lined boulevards and interconnected trails to create a setting that inspires creativity and ingenuity.
