The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis dedicates a new green space.April 23, 2008
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In keeping with the spirit of Earth Day, a time to deepen the reverence for and care of the planet, The Children’s Museum is opening a new green space in our neighborhood. Beautifying blighted areas in the surrounding neighborhood is an ongoing effort for the museum. The new green space is on the site of the former gas station on 30th and Meridian Streets. "We appreciate the generous support from our community partners who helped make this project a reality. It is the museum’s hope that the new green space will serve as a catalyst for a healthier, stronger and safer community where businesses and families continue to grow and thrive," said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO of The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Read the whole story at childrensmuseum.org...
