The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis dedicates a new green space.

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to dedicate more greenspace to our urban environment. Families, teachers and school children joined public officials and Museum representatives for the dedication of this new urban pocket park. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis commissioned CONTEXT to design the space and help transform the formerly blighted site into a neighborhood amenity.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In keeping with the spirit of Earth Day, a time to deepen the reverence for and care of the planet, The Children’s Museum is opening a new green space in our neighborhood. Beautifying blighted areas in the surrounding neighborhood is an ongoing effort for the museum. The new green space is on the site of the former gas station on 30th and Meridian Streets.
