Brownsburg High School: Senior Academy and Classroom Addition

CONTEXT has been fortunate to serve the School Corporation since the inception of the firm. This long-standing relationship led to a commission with CSO Architects to provide complete site/civil design services for expansion efforts in both 2006 and 2007.

While both classroom addition projects provide needed space for a growing student population, the Senior Academy also makes a critical shift in curriculum programming. The new facility focuses on mentoring opportunities, college preparatory experiences and a learning environment tailored for personal achievement.

CONTEXT's scope for the Academy includes porous pavements, low-impact drainage infrastructure, pedestrian safety improvements, a new varsity track and enhancements to the Roark Field football complex, totaling $4 million in construction value.
