The 1,700-acre community of Anson engages woodland preservation, natural stormwater management, and enhancement of habitat as marketable amenities for this visionary mixed-use endeavor in Central Indiana. CONTEXT was commissioned to help refine the original vision plan and provide it with a stronger connection to the natural landscape. This collaboration of planners and engineers has achieved uncommon results with a sensible green strategy that promotes healthy communities while maximizing developable land.
CONTEXT is responsible for the detailed development of the streetscapes, civic spaces, greenways and parks that are woven into the fabric of Anson as a foundation for quality of life. The forms, colors and materials of these spaces create the vocabulary of Anson's identity. CONTEXT produced Anson's Community Standards and serves as an active voice of the Design Review Committee.
